To set up email on a Mobile or Email Client 

If you use an email program such as Outlook, Thunderbird or a mail app on a mobile device you can set up your email as either POP3 or IMAP.   Imap is useful if you wish to log in with different devices/PCs as there would be no need to ‘synchronise’ mail between devices.

Settings are as follows:

Account type: IMAP
Incoming mail server: imap.stackmail.com
Incoming server port: 993
(if you set up as POP3 use port 995 and server pop3.stackmail.com)
Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL

Outgoing mail server: smtp.stackmail.com
Outoing server port: 587
Outgoing encryption type: TLS – if this is not available the next preference should be ‘Auto’
